| Titanic Stymie Hawaii, Take 4-1 Win | The Hawaii Islanders got a superb performance from pitcher Ryokan Endo, but the Belfast Titanic still won the game, 4-1. Endo was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 9 innings allowing 4 runs. Juan Mendoza, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 1-0. Bryan Blashill earned the save, his 2nd.
Jorge Zamora, who is a five-time All-Star, aided the Belfast cause with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Belfast skipper Sergio Ortega.
The win pushes Belfast to a record of 3-3.
