| Black Bears Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | Fraser Valley starter Carlos Delgado pitched effectively against the Cape Verde Vesuvius at Conduit Caverns. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The first-place Black Bears have won 6 straight games.
Though he did not get the decision, Delgado did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7 innings, until Fraser Valley eventually rallied past the Vesuvius.
"I like our mindset right now," said Fraser Valley manager Tom Klein.
