| Bulldogs Stymie Jacksonville, Take 4-1 Win | Spokane and Jacksonville duked it out at Hellcats Park and the Bulldogs came out victorious.
Spokane starter Yuji Murai pitched effectively against the Jacksonville Hellcats at Hellcats Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Spokane, at 66-75, sits in 5th place in the TMLAA Bruce Bochy Division.
Keith Harkness, who is tied for 2nd in the TAA in bases on balls with 94, aided the Spokane cause with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Spokane skipper Martín Torres.
