| Storm Troopers RF Bradley scores 3 runs in Win | The San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Boise Hawks, 12-5. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Vaughan Bradley, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Tim Carson was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts. Curt Hargrave converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.
Ed Noel went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for San Antonio. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jesse Lay. It was his 55th walk of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Bradley said after the game.
The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 80-61 with this latest triumph.
