| Red Bulls Score Late to Upend Marauders, 9-4 | The Riverside Red Bulls topped the Bradenton Marauders by the score of 9-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Francisco Hernández. Hernández was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Red Bulls on the day. The winner was Riverside reliever Hidenori Tomita, now 6-0. The loser was Tom Cluff. The Red Bulls bumped their record to 79-61 with this latest triumph.
Had Yugo Muramoto not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Muramoto hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Red Bulls.
