The DeKalb Cornhuskers downed the Biloxi Bullets, 11-0, at The Corn Crib. The Cornhuskers were led by John Bloom, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Their 69-71 record puts the Cornhuskers second in the TMLAA Bruce Bochy Division.

Bloom had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Cornhuskers went on to win.
