| Sasquatch Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Kansas City | The Kansas City Tornadoes got a superb performance from designated hitter Omar Avila. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Seattle. The Sasquatch won the game, 7-5. In spite of the loss, Avila was named the player of the game. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Shuichi Imai earned the win for Seattle. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 4 hits, while striking out 9. With the win, he raised his record to 4-3. The Sasquatch, now 33-16, know that wins in May count the same as wins in September.
Robby Sanchez, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in triples with 3, helped out the Seattle cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4.
Sanchez told a Seattle Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
