| Beehive Score Late to Upend Black Bears, 10-7 | Madison and Fraser Valley duked it out at The Stetson Bowl and the Beehive came out victorious.
The Beehive had to overcome a good performance from Fraser Valley pitcher Tyrone Mason to claim a 10-7 win at The Stetson Bowl. Mason went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Madison reliever Howard Radley picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Wei-sng Mak was saddled with the loss. Kris Richardson got the save, his 21st in 27 chances.
Danny Cancino chipped in for Madison with a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
"Enjoyed this one," Cancino told the Madison Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
Madison is now 62-72.
