| Monarchs Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Youngstown | The Marysville Monarchs stopped the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 6-4, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The Monarchs got a big game from Tom Horne, who went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Ricardo Jarquin was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities. Marysville is now 90-48, 14 games up in the RCLAA Gene Mauch Division.
Jesus Gres aided the Marysville cause with a 2-run double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
