| Vesuvius Get Road Win, 7-3 | Cape Verde second baseman Yeong-il Choy had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-3 win over the Riverside Red Bulls. Cape Verde starter Carlos Quiñones was credited with the win after throwing 85 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 6-9. The Vesuvius bumped their record to 70-64 with this latest triumph.
Choy had a game-changing single in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 slider from Ramon Trinidad, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Vesuvius a 4-2 lead. It was the 66th hit of the year for Choy.
