| Snaps Get Past Fraser Valley for 4-3 Win | The Cincinnati Snaps beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 4-3, at The Stetson Bowl. The Snaps got a fine performance from catcher Manuel Santiago, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Cincinnati reliever Ben West picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Dusty Mast was collared with the loss. Ismael Mejia, credited with the save, is now 3 for 7 in save opportunities.
Santiago had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Dusty Mast, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Snaps a 4-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Santiago.
In postgame comments to the Cincinnati Daily, Santiago said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
Cincinnati is now riding a 3-game win streak.
