It was a fun time at Ashton Gate, where the Boise Hawks and Bristol Robins tangled.

Danny Melo had a 3-RBI game, during Bristol's 11-6 triumph over the Boise. Melo contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. Bristol reliever Dale Loder got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Carlos Ortiz was tagged with the loss.

The Robins got a big at-bat from designated hitter Winn Miller. For the game, Miller went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 22nd home run of the season gave Bristol a 3-0 lead.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Melo told the Bristol Daily.

Even with the win, the Robins have a dismal 44-90 record.
