| Carranza Helps Youngstown Cruise to 11-3 Win | The Youngstown Tune-Ups and Spokane Bulldogs completed their game despite the rain.
The Youngstown Tune-Ups topped the Spokane Bulldogs by the score of 11-3, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Antonio Carranza. Carranza went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 6 for the Tune-Ups. Youngstown starter Danny Minor was credited with the win after throwing 97 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 8-12.
Carranza had a key at-bat for Youngstown early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 18th double of the season and gave Youngstown an early 2-0 lead.
