| Mizuno Excels, But Beetlecats Win | DeKalb got a terrific game from first baseman Sean Mizuno. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Buzzard's Bay, 14-10. Mizuno was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 66-61 with this latest triumph.
Octavio Borges, who is tied for 9th in the RAA in stolen bases with 28, aided the Buzzard's Bay cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman was 1-2 with 4 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Borges.
