| Shamrocks Stun Rats, 8-7 | The Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Rock River Rats, 8-7, at The Rat Hole. Lorenzo Romero was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 23-year old right fielder was a menace to Rock River all day. The win was credited to Dario Reyes in relief. His record improves to 7-4. Juan Bravo took the loss. At 72-57, Pacifica is in second place in the RCLAA Gene Mauch Division.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Nate Moran. For the game, Moran was 1-4 with a double and a walk. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 12th double of the season gave Pacifica a 7-6 lead.
Romero told the Pacifica Daily News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
