The Madison Beehive knocked off the Frisco Rams, 5-3, at The Hive. Sean Howard, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Madison won. The left fielder was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Kris Richardson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 26 save opportunities. Madison is now 59-67, while Frisco is 56-72.

Howard had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 fastball from Yukiyasu Kawashima, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Beehive a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Howard.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Howard said.
