| Mamou Hits 2 home runs in Hellcats Win | The Jacksonville Hellcats knocked off the Bradenton Marauders, 8-0, at The Field at Bradenton. Ken Mamou, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Jacksonville won. The second baseman belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Jacksonville is now 59-69, while Bradenton is 54-74.
The Hellcats got a big at-bat from right fielder Matt DeMaria. For the game, DeMaria went 2-4 with a triple and a double. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Jacksonville a 1-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," DeMaria said.
