| Tune-Ups Lose, 8-5, at The Kennel | Spokane withstood an impressive performance by Youngstown second baseman Jake Parker to defeat the Tune-Ups, 8-5, at The Kennel. Parker went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Spokane is now 61-66, while Youngstown is 58-69.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from second baseman Arturo Contreras. For the game, Contreras was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Spokane a 5-4 lead.
