| Monarchs Get Past Bristol for 6-5 Win | Monarchs left fielder Andrew Clark put his stamp on his team's 6-5 win over the Bristol Robins. Clark went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Marysville in the contest. The Robins, now 41-85, have lost 8 straight.
Clark had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Arturo Mercado, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Monarchs a 6-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Clark.
"We're in a funk right now," said Bristol skipper Mason Eilers.
