| Donohue Hits 2 home runs in Storm Troopers Win | San Antonio played host to Madison at the friendly confines of The Clone Army.
The San Antonio Storm Troopers downed the Madison Beehive, 5-4, at The Clone Army. The Storm Troopers were led by Eric Donohue, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The winner was San Antonio reliever Esteban García, now 1-1. The loser was Takayuki Tominaga.
Donohue had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 changeup from Takayuki Tominaga, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Storm Troopers a 5-4 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Donohue.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Donohue said.
The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 71-53 with this latest triumph.
