| Shamrocks Get Close Win Over Bullets | Pacifica played host to Biloxi at the friendly confines of McCormick Field.
The Pacifica Shamrocks downed the Biloxi Bullets, 6-4, at McCormick Field. The Shamrocks were led by Eric Marino, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs. Pacifica reliever Alexis Nunez was the winner. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Ramón García.
Danny Rodriguez drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances for Pacifica. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Doug Durham. It was his 44th walk of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Rodriguez.
The Shamrocks bumped their record to 70-56 with this latest triumph.
