| Wolverines Win Thriller, 4-3 | Starting pitcher John Hensley pitched well enough to help the Wichita Wolverines beat the Carson City Mustang by the score of 4-3. Wichita reliever Hiroki Saito picked up the win to move to 4-1. Matt Stevenson suffered the loss. The Wolverines bumped their record to 70-55 with this latest triumph.
Gabriel García had the critical at-bat for Wichita. With two out in the bottom of the 11th inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Wichita the 4-3 walk-off win.
In postgame comments, Hensley said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
