Seattle second baseman Félix Hernández was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Cole Sanford was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. Picking up the save was Chad Flam, his 1st.
Hernández had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Sasquatch went on to win.
