| Hackers Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Youngstown | The Silicon Valley Hackers bested the Youngstown Tune-Ups by a score of 7-3, with catcher Jeff Mason getting the main credit. On the day, Mason went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Hackers. Shayne Cluff notched his 3rd save in 4 chances. The Hackers bumped their record to 65-58 with this latest triumph.
Robby Gomez's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for Silicon Valley. Coming to bat with no one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Silicon Valley trailing 1-0, the second baseman reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.
