Jacobs, Carson City Prevail in Pitchers' Duel

It was a good time at Cowboys Stadium, where fans came to watch the San Antonio Storm Troopers and Carson City Mustang get after it.

The Carson City Mustang got a strong performance from pitcher Shane Jacobs, who stymied the San Antonio offense en route to a 2-0 win at Cowboys Stadium. The first-place Mustang have a one-game lead in their division.

Jacobs tossed 107 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Mustang. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
