| Hellcats Win at Youngstown, 7-6 | Jacksonville and Youngstown duked it out at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum and the Hellcats came out victorious.
Youngstown shortstop Li-cong Ju had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Ju went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk, even as Jacksonville beat the Tune-Ups, 7-6. Ju was named the player of the game despite the loss. Jacksonville starter Eric Sauer was credited with the win after throwing 117 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 7-10. Jason Aves notched his 1st save in 4 chances.
Billy Jorgensen aided the Jacksonville cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Ben McBean.
The win boosts the Hellcats to 53-66. The loss puts the Tune-Ups at 52-65.
