| Late Rally by Bullets Secures Win | The Bullets faced a stiff challenge from Cape Verde pitcher Javier Polanco, but persevered to claim a win at Conduit Caverns. The final score was 8-2. Polanco went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Bullets bumped their record to 65-54 with this latest triumph.
The Bullets got a big at-bat from second baseman Luis Valdez. For the game, Valdez was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Biloxi a 4-2 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Valdez told the Biloxi Daily News.
