| Robins Walk It Off for 41st Win of Season | Bristol designated hitter David Callon was instrumental in his team's 8-6 win over the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats. Callon went 3-6 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Robins. The winner was Bristol reliever Billy Murray, now 2-2. The loser was Mike Anderson. Even with the win, the Robins have a dismal 41-77 record.
Callon had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a 2-2 sinker from Mike Anderson, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Robins a 8-6 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Callon.
"It was terrific getting this win," Callon said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
