| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Armada | The Midland Rockhounds got a superb performance from pitcher Ruben Fernandez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Quebec. The Armada won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Fernandez was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Quebec reliever Juan Amaya was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Justin Bolling took the loss. The win boosts the Armada to 19-27. The loss puts the Rockhounds at 16-27.
The Armada got a big at-bat from catcher John Rollins. For the game, Rollins went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 41st hit of the season gave Quebec a 5-4 lead.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Midland manager Anastasio Ojeda.
