Hellcats Topple Hackers as Mamou Shines

Hellcats second baseman Ken Mamou put his stamp on his team's 8-5 win over the Silicon Valley Hackers. Mamou went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Jacksonville in the contest. With the victory, the Hellcats record now stands at 52-64.

Mamou had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Lee Krause, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Hellcats a 7-5 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Mamou.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Mamou.
