| Victory Pushes Red Bulls Record to 61-54 | Riverside starter Mike Tallman pitched effectively against the Boise Hawks at Red Bull Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 9-3 win. The Red Bulls bumped their record to 61-54 with this latest triumph.
Riverside took a 4-3 lead on Allen Cargle's 103rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Cargle hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Boise pitcher Yoshiyuki Matsuda shaking his head.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Tallman told the Riverside Citizen.
