| Beetlecats Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Marysville | The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats bested the Marysville Monarchs, 6-4, at Bloomfield Road. Mike Marti was named player of the game. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ricky Lerma, credited with the win, is now 2-8. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 56-55 with this latest triumph.
Early in the game, first baseman C.J. Devers had a 2-run home run for Buzzard's Bay. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Beetlecats on top, 2-1.
"Feels good to get the job done," Devers said after the game.
