| Hawks Win at Jacksonville, 4-0 | Boise Hawks starter Jose Escobar turned in a top-notch performance against the Jacksonville Hellcats at Hellcats Park. The result was a win for the Hawks, 4-0. Boise now sits in last place in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League at 47-67.
It could have been a different outcome for Boise, had it not been for Carlos Munoz, the slick-fielding center fielder . Munoz contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the second inning to put Boise up, 2-0.
In postgame comments to the Boise Herald, Escobar said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
