| Vesuvius Solve Shamrocks, 6-2 | Behind a solid performance from first baseman Yeong-il Choy, the Cape Verde Vesuvius defeated the Pacifica Shamrocks, 6-2. Choy went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Vesuvius. Reliever Justin Beltrani picked up the win. His record improves to 1-3. Yoichibei Omura took the loss. Cape Verde has now won 4 straight.
Choy had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Vesuvius went on to win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Choy told the Cape Verde Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
