| Ducks Score Late to Upend Black Bears, 7-5 | The Long Island Ducks faced a tough opponent in Fraser Valley pitcher Tyrone Mason, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Stetson Bowl by a final score of 7-5. Mason went 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Long Island reliever Juan Munoz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Wei-sng Mak absorbed the loss. Long Island is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Ducks got a big at-bat from second baseman Louis Molloy. For the game, Molloy went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Long Island a 7-5 lead.
"It was a solid team effort," said Molloy after the game.
