Hackers Deal Rams Painful Loss

Silicon Valley second baseman Robby Gomez was instrumental in his team's 8-7 win over the Frisco Rams. Gomez went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hackers. Silicon Valley bumps their record to 56-56 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Silicon Valley left fielder Michael del Toro, facing Luis Navarro, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Hackers the 8-7 win.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Gomez said. "We did a good job of that today."
