| Monarchs Come Back Late to Top Red Bulls | Marysville pitcher Tae-sang Khang did his part in helping his team beat the Riverside Red Bulls, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Marysville goes to 76-36. The win puts them 15 games up in their division.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Marysville first baseman Tom Horne, facing Chotaro Matsuno, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Monarchs the 4-3 win.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Horne said.
