| Snaps Top Spartans in Extras | The Cincinnati Snaps grabbed a 4-3 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans at The Studio. Cincinnati right fielder Tom Pritt went 1-4 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Cincinnati reliever Mike Jones picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Chris Roberts took the loss. Their 54-56 record puts the Snaps 4th in the TMLAA Jim Leyland Division.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Cincinnati designated hitter Jesus Navarro, facing António Medrano, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Snaps the 4-3 win.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Cincinnati manager Rob Penn.
