Rubber City and So Cal duked it out at House of the Republic and the Rhinos came out victorious.

Rubber City right fielder Tucker Slade played a vital role in his team's 7-4 triumph over So Cal. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Rubber City. Rudy Cortez finished the game for Rubber City and earned his 7th save.

Slade had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rhinos went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Slade said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Even with the win, the Rhinos have a dismal 11-32 record.
