Bryant Helps Wolverines Run Win Streak to 3

A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old right fielder Eli Bryant helped the Wichita Wolverines beat the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 5-3. Joel Stapleton converted his 32nd save in 37 tries. Wichita has 3 straight wins, Fraser Valley 3 straight losses.

Bryant had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 cutter from Brian Gunter, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Wolverines a 4-2 lead. It was the 19th home run of the year for Bryant.

"We did a lot of things right," said Bryant.
