| Victory Pushes Shamrocks Record to 60-51 | Frisco got a terrific game from right fielder Bill Sheppard. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Pacifica, 9-5. Sheppard was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Dedrick Savage, who threw 100 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 6 hits. Pacifica is now 60-51, while Frisco is 50-58.
Rich Berry helped out the Pacifica cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.
