| Moncayo Excels, But Bulldogs Win | The Cincinnati Snaps got a superb performance from catcher Victor Moncayo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Spokane. The Bulldogs won the game, 11-7. In spite of the loss, Moncayo was named the player of the game. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Spokane reliever Joe Skinner picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bernie Maldonado absorbed the loss. Spokane, at 53-55, sits in third place in the TMLAA Bruce Bochy Division.
Manuel Cervantez, who is tied for 10th in the TAA in bases on balls with 63, aided the Spokane cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
"We came out aggressive," said Bulldogs manager Martín Torres. "We came out swinging the bats."
