| 7-1 Hackers Win over Robins Evens Season Record | With first baseman Jason Valentine leading the charge, the Silicon Valley Hackers defeated the Bristol Robins, 7-1, at Ashton Gate. Valentine, who is tied for 8th in the RAA with a .305 batting average, was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Hackers bumped their record to 54-54 with this latest triumph.
Robby Gomez hit a 2-run double off Ricky Torres in the top of the second, which put the Hackers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Gomez had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
