| Black Bears Get Road Win, 7-4 | Fraser Valley and San Antonio duked it out at The Clone Army and the Black Bears came out victorious.
The Fraser Valley Black Bears trumped the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 7-4, at The Clone Army. Fraser Valley right fielder Jorge Sandoval was named player of the game for his performance. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Carlos Delgado, credited with the win, is now 10-4. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 5 innings.
Herbert Howe went 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Fraser Valley. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Chris Tattrie. It was his 18th RBI of the season.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Sandoval told the Fraser Valley Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
