| Marauders Lose, 3-1, at Field de Los Layendas | In a tight game between the Cabo San Lucas Toreros and the Maple Marauders, pitcher Steve Vincent was terrific on the mound. The Cabo San Lucas left-hander was named the player of the game in Cabo San Lucas's 3-1 win. Mike Foust finished the game for Cabo San Lucas and earned his 15th save. The Toreros bumped their record to 24-18 with this latest triumph.
The Toreros got a big at-bat from right fielder Lee Brooks. For the game, Brooks went 2-3 with a double. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 2-1 lead.
Vincent attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
