Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and a runner on 2nd, the batter, Alfredo Rodriguez, hit a single. It helped Carson City seize the win.
"You can't take yourself too seriously," Rodriguez told the Carson City Chronicle. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
