| Hellcats Lose 6-5 Decision to Beetlecats | Jacksonville third baseman Billy Jorgensen had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Buzzard's Bay at Hellcats Park. Jorgensen went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Jon Gonzales picked up the win. His record improves to 3-4. Mike Marquez took the loss. The Beetlecats now have a record of 50-51 with the win over Jacksonville.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when first baseman C.J. Devers hit a single. The Beetlecats went on to win.
