| Hackers Best Shamrocks in Pitching Duel | Silicon Valley turned a good effort from starter Juan Guzman into a win over the Pacifica Shamrocks at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The final score was 2-0. The Hackers are now 51-52, while the Shamrocks fall to 57-49.
Silicon Valley took a 2-0 lead on Michael del Toro's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which del Toro hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Pacifica pitcher Yeong-sam Yi shaking his head.
"I liked his command," said Silicon Valley manager Phillip Smith. "Juan was throwing strikes."
