| Robins Come Back Late to Top Marauders | With center fielder Andreas Dawson leading the charge, the Bristol Robins defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 5-4, at Ashton Gate. Dawson went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. The last-place Robins lifted their record to 36-65.
Had Carlos Arellano not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Arellano hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Robins.
Dawson called the triumph "a good team win."
