| Snaps Top Beetlecats in Extras | Cincinnati Snaps starter Antonio Pena pitched effectively against the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats at Bloomfield Road. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 6-2 win. Cincinnati reliever Mike Jones picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Tien Tran-Dinh shouldered the loss. Cincinnati's record now stands at 48-52, placing them 4th in the TMLAA Jim Leyland Division.
Roland Kuns's hit in the top of the 13th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Tien Tran-Dinh for a grand slam home run. It put Cincinnati in front, 6-2.
"Antonio is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Cincinnati manager Rob Penn.
